The Board of Trustees of School District No. 58, Bingham County, Idaho met in a work session at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, March 7th, 2023 at the Aberdeen School District office at 268 S 4th W Suite A Aberdeen, Idaho.
CALL TO ORDER AND ESTABLISHMENT OF A QUORUM
Chairman Todd Lowder opened the meeting at 1:10 p.m. Present were Sherrie Mauroner, Amy Burusco, Brian Rowlan and Elaine Blik. A quorum was established. Others present were Business Manager David Burke, Superintendent Jane Ward, Human Resource Manager Dena Blaker and Chad Ranstrom with Moreton & Company.
PURPOSE OF MEETING AND BUSINESS CONDUCTED
The meeting was advertised to discuss the 2023-2024 ISBA insurance plan statement of values.
Chad Ranstrom reviewed the school district’s 2023-2024 statement of values and discussed insurance coverage on buildings and property. Questions were answered to determine the appropriate values of insurance coverage and if some items should be added, or values reduced for the upcoming school year. An appraisal is periodically completed on the school district’s behalf to update property values to make sure the insurance coverage is adequate for replacement costs.
ADJOURNMENT
A motion was made by Trustee Blik and seconded by Trustee Burusco to adjourn the meeting. The motion passed and the meeting adjourned at 3:30 p.m.
