The Board of Trustees of School District No. 58, Bingham County, Idaho met in a work session at 5:00 pm on Monday, December 8th, 2025 at the Aberdeen School District office at 268 S 4th W Suite A Aberdeen, Idaho.
CALL TO ORDER AND ESTABLISHMENT OF A QUORUM
Chairman Brian Rowlan opened the meeting at 5:07 p.m. Present were Amy Burusco, Sherrie Mauroner, James Patten and Aimee Elliott. A quorum was established.
PURPOSE OF MEETING AND BUSINESS CONDUCTED
The meeting was advertised to discuss the Idaho School Board Association superintendent search
The Idaho School Board Association provided an example superintendent search brochure from Canyon-Owyhee School Service Agency to show the format of the advertising services they provide. The school board reviewed the example brochure and decided on what to include such as pictures of Aberdeen School District #58, a list of qualifications, accomplishments and qualities they are looking for in a superintendent and interview questions. This information will be forwarded to the Idaho School Board Association to prepare an advertising brochure for our school district and will be advertised immediately with the closing date for superintendent applicants on Friday, March 27th 2026.
No motion was necessary, for discussion only.
ADJOURNMENT
A motion was made by Trustee Elliott and seconded by Trustee Mauroner to adjourn the meeting. The motion passed and the meeting adjourned at 6:16 p.m.
