The Board of Trustees of School District No. 58, Bingham County, Idaho met in an executive session at 7:30 a.m. on Monday, August 10th, 2026 at the Aberdeen School District office at 268 S 4th W Suite A Aberdeen, Idaho.
CALL TO ORDER AND ESTABLISHMENT OF A QUORUM
Chairman Brian Rowlan was present by teleconference and opened the meeting at 7:38 a.m. Also present were Amy Burusco, Sherrie Mauroner by teleconference and James Patten. A quorum was established. Aimee Elliott arrived at 7:40 a.m.
Others present included Superintendent Scott Muir and Business Manager David Burke.
EXECUTIVE SESSION
At 7:39 a.m., a motion was made by Trustee Patten that the Board of Trustees of School District No. 58 recess from an open meeting into executive session pursuant to Section 74-206(1), Idaho Code, in order to discuss Section 74-206(1): Subsection (b) and that following the executive session the board will reconvene in public session for the purpose of conducting further business or for adjournment of the meeting.
PURPOSE OF MEETING AND BUSINESS CONDUCTED
The purpose of the executive session was for the due process hearing final decision letter.
A roll call vote was held with the following results:
Brian Rowlan – Yes; Amy Burusco – Yes; Sherrie Mauroner – Yes; James Patten – Yes; Aimee Elliott – Absent. The motion passed.
The regular session reconvened at 7:53 a.m.
A motion was made by Trustee Elliott and seconded by Trustee Burusco to approve the due process hearing final decision letter.
A roll call vote was held with the following results:
Brian Rowlan – Yes; Amy Burusco – Yes; Sherrie Mauroner – Yes; James Patten – Yes; Aimee Elliott – Yes. The motion passed.
ADJOURNMENT
A motion was made by Trustee Patten and seconded by Trustee Burusco to adjourn the meeting. The motion passed and the meeting adjourned at 7:56 a.m.
