Students are expected to conduct themselves in such a manner as not to interfere with the orderly operation of the educational program. The building principals are directed to establish reasonable, and age-appropriate, rules necessary to maintain orderly conduct in the school. Any rules established by the principal must be published yearly in the student handbook or otherwise distributed so as to provide adequate notice to all students. It is understood that the handbook may change throughout the course of the school year and all best efforts will be made to provide notice to the students.
This no way limits the authority of the building principal to make disciplinary decisions on a daily basis.
