ABOUT ABERDEEN
Aberdeen is a small farming community with a population of about 2,000. Aberdeen is located in southeastern Idaho, about 40 miles from Pocatello, home of Idaho State University. Aberdeen is also home of the University of Idaho Research and Extension Center, the NRCS Plant Materials Center, and the National Small Grains Germplasm Research facility.
Aberdeen has a 9-hole golf course and many walking trails throughout the city. The city is located along the Snake River where summer water recreation is available. It is also a good area for hunting and fishing.
